Google Celebrates Golgappe Pani Puri With Making Doodle On Making Record Of 51 Tastes Of Pani Puri Pani In Madhya Pradesh

Search engine Google is celebrating Indian street food Golgappa i.e. Pani Puri today. Google has put a doodle on Golgappa today. This doodle features a Golgappa game in which a user selects from different golgappe pani tastes to match each customer’s preference of taste and quantity and completes the pani puri order keeping in mind his/her happiness. Why did you make a doodle?

Google has created this special doodle because a restaurant named Indori Zaika in Indore, Madhya Pradesh has achieved the world record for serving the maximum number of flavors of Pani Puri by offering 51 types of Golgappa water. According to the news of Business Today, this record has been made under the supervision of Master Chef Neha Shah. On this occasion, Google has introduced a new Pani Puri game by calling Pani Puri a popular South Asian street food made of crispy balls filled with potatoes, chickpeas, spices, or chili and flavored water.

Golgappa has many names across the country

This (pani puri) popular street food shows many regional variations and is known by different names across the country. In Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, pani puri is a small-sized street food, usually dipped in a mixture of boiled chickpeas, white peas, sprouts and spiced water. In Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and New Delhi, golgappa refers to a small street food filled with potatoes and chickpeas, accompanied by jaljeera-flavoured water. Similarly, in West Bengal and parts of Bihar and Jharkhand, street food is called puchka or phuchka, which has tamarind pulp as the main ingredient.
