Car Safety Features: People are paying more attention to safety features while buying new vehicles, revealed in the survey

Safe Cars in India: In the last few years, there has been a lot of growth in the sale of cars in India. Earlier people used to pay maximum attention to its price and mileage while buying a car, but now the time has changed and people pay more attention to the safety and other features of the car and they are ready to spend more for it. A survey of car buyers in the country has revealed that 9 out of 10 customers are more conscious about the safety features in the vehicle. 

How was the survey

A survey conducted on car customers reports that 22.3% of new car buyers have more faith in the car’s crash rating. While 21.6% people expressed more confidence in airbags. While 15.0% people believed that mileage is important for them. According to the crash test, people liked the cars with 5-star and 4-star ratings more. While 0 rating car is also good for 6.8% people. 

Safety First

People in the age group of 18-54 years were included under this survey. In this, 67% people were such, who still have one or the other car. While another 33% do not currently own a car, but want to buy a car worth more than Rs 5 lakh within a year. These people included 80% men and 20% women.
