BMW M 1000 RR Launched: Recently, the bike which was spotted several times during testing has finally been launched by BMW. However, its launch was eagerly awaited, which is the BMW M 1000 RR.

Will be sold through CBU route

BMW will sell this bike through the CBU (Completely Built Up Units) route in the Indian market, which will be the company’s flagship model in the Indian market. Taking bookings for this bike has started, while it will be delivered in November.

The base variant of this bike will be available in two colours, which will be Light White and M Motorsport. At the same time, its competition variant will be with Blackstorm Metallic and M Motorsport option.

BMW M 1000 RR Engine Power

BMW has used a 999cc inline 4-cylinder engine to power this bike. Which generates peak torque of 113 Nm of tremendous power of 212hp. The bike takes only 3.1 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h.

Talking about the features of this bike, it has been given GPS data logger and laptrigger 6.5 inch TFT display. Apart from this, modes like Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race are also available in the bike with customizable Race Pro 1-3.

BMW has introduced its M 1000 RR bike at a price of Rs 49 lakh ex-showroom and its top variant Competition at a price of Rs 55 lakh ex-showroom.

The list of rivals of BMW M 1000 RR include Ducati Panigale V4 SP2, Indian Motorcycle Pursuit, Indian Motorcycle Roadmaster, Honda Gold Wing among others.
