Ashneer Grover Got No Relief In Black Money Income Tax Notice Matter Delhi High Court Dismissed A Plea

Ashneer Grover: The Delhi High Court today has not given any relief to Ashneer Grover in the Income Tax case. The Delhi High Court has dismissed the application of Ashneer Grover challenging the income tax notice issued against him. The Income Tax Department had issued an Income Tax notice on 29 May 2023 to Ashneer Grover under section 8 of the Black Money Act.

The Delhi High Court had said that the petition filed by former Managing Director of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, should either be voluntarily withdrawn or the court would have to dismiss it. After this, in view of the intention not to take further action on the application filed against this notice on behalf of Ashneer Grover, it has been rejected as ‘withdrawn’.

Notice was issued to Ashneer Grover

The Delhi High Court has given this direction on Tuesday and the petition challenging the proceedings of the court has been dismissed. This case is going on under the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act 2015 and under this, this income tax notice was issued to Ashneer Grover.

Please tell that Ashneer Grover had filed this petition against the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Union Ministry of Finance and Deputy Director of Income Tax Department.
