Sahara Refund Portal: The government has launched the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal on July 18 for the recovery of money stuck in Sahara Society. All those depositors whose money is stuck in Sahara Society for years can claim through this portal. If you have also been its depositor, then you can get your amount by registering on this portal. It is worth noting that depositors of four societies can claim in this portal.

Depositors of Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited Lucknow, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited Kolkata, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited Bhopal and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited Hyderabad can claim refund through this portal.

How can claim

Depositors will have to first register themselves by visiting the refund portal of CRCS Sahara to get the refund. Next you have to click on Depositor Login and then enter the last four digits of your Aadhaar card and Aadhaar linked mobile number. After this, by clicking on Get OTP, you will have to enter OTP here. Next you have to verify your OTP.

What is the deadline for claiming refund?

If we talk about the present, the government has not fixed any deadline for depositors to claim on the refund portal of CRCS Sahara. You can claim your refund on this portal as long as you want. Keep in mind that if your claim amount is more than Rs 50,000, then you are required to submit PAN card. Along with this, it is also necessary to have Aadhaar link mobile number and bank account. Without this you cannot claim for refund on the portal.

When will I get the money?

Significantly, after claiming the refund, all your information will be verified. Sahara Society will validate this claim process within 30 days. After this, the authorized CRCS will process it within 15 days and transfer the money to the bank account linked to Aadhaar. This entire process may take a total of 45 days.
