Triumph Speed 400 vs Harley-Davidson X440: Recently launched in the market, two new premium segment bikes are all set to compete in the market. Because now there has been an increase in the options for the customers, in which till now Royal Enfield dominated. Both the Triumph Speed 400 and the Harley Davidson X440 bikes come from the best brands, which have now found a new set of buyers.
However, being made in India, the reasonable price of these bikes can be seen here. Out of which, if we talk about Triumph Speed 400, it has been launched at a price of Rs. 2.23 lakhs, which is for its initial customers. While the initial price of Harley Davidson is Rs 2.3 lakh.
Talking about the engine, the Speed 400 leads the way with its 397.15 cc liquid cooled single cylinder. Which generates 40hp power at 8000 rpm and 37.5 Nm torque at 6500 rpm. On the other hand, talking about Harley Davidson X440, it is capable of generating 27bhp power and 38 Nm torque with 440 cc single cylinder engine. The mileage of both the bikes is around 35 kmpl.
In terms of design, both the bikes are similar to their current variants. In which LED DRL, Bluetooth, USB charging and dual channel ABS have been included as features, which means that both the bikes are far ahead in terms of features. On the other hand, in terms of mileage, both the bikes are capable of delivering up to 35 km/l.
If we talk about the features, then features like ride-by-wire, all LED lighting, traction control, LCD screen, C type USB charger and dual channel ABS have been given in Triumph. While Harley X440 includes features like LED DRL, Bluetooth, USB charging and dual channel ABS. Which means both the bikes make their presence felt with great features and brand factors.
Both the Speed 400 and the Harley X440 can hope to win over new customers with their retro styling and massive power. Royal Enfield is undoubtedly ruling the segment with its massive line-up. But both these bikes have the potential to enter this segment and make it grow. Which can also be different from Royal Enfield.
