Enhanced Intelligent Services: A Twitter user had alleged on Realme that the company tracks his personal data. As soon as the Union Electronics and Technology Minister saw this tweet, he ordered an inquiry into it. Since then, many users on Twitter are accusing Realme of stealing data. Some say that the data is being transferred to China because it is a Chinese company. Users are putting all kinds of allegations on Real Me. For those who do not know which feature we are talking about, it is actually a feature called Enhanced Intelligent Services which is on by default in Realme phones. This feature is available on realme UI 4.0 which is currently running on most realme smartphone models.
Company replied
In response to all the questions given by Realme to 91 Mobiles, it was said that the company gives utmost importance to the privacy and security of its users. The company said that the Enhanced Intelligent Services feature optimizes device usage to ensure that users get better battery life and temperature performance. Real Me said that the company does not collect any data on users’ SMS, phone calls, schedules etc.
The company further said that whatever data the mobile phone collects is encrypted and under the Android security mechanism it is saved in the user’s own smartphone and cannot be accessed by the company nor is it uploaded to any cloud. Along with this, the company said that we lay great emphasis on user privacy protection, Enhanced Intelligent Services feature can be manually turned on or off depending on the needs of the users.
That is, by keeping this feature on, your data is not transferred anywhere and it remains saved in the mobile only so that your mobile experience can be better.
