The Images Of Next Generation Volkswagen Tiguan Suv Is Revealed

Next Generation Volkswagen Tiguan: Volkswagen has released the first set of pictures and details of the third generation Tiguan SUV. It can be introduced in the global market in the next few months and in early 2024, its sales will be started in Europe first. Volkswagen currently sells the second generation model of this SUV in India.

Styling & Dimensions

The pictures shared by Volkswagen show the new model completely covered and while most of the design details are hidden, we can still get some idea about its design. It is much less boxy than the current model, and sports a more rounded silhouette. According to the company, this SUV is now 32mm longer at 4,551mm and 5mm more i.e. 1,640mm wide. It gets the same wheelbase of 2,681mm. It gets 33 liters more space along with more headroom and legroom for the front and rear passengers. Ventilated and massaging seats will also be available in the upper variants. It will get to see many details including HD matrix headlight set-up with very powerful high beam, a wide LED lightbar.

Interior & Features

While no clear pictures of the interior of the new Tiguan have been released, some of the teaser images show a large tablet-like touchscreen set-up, similar to the one seen on the company’s ID.7 electric sedan which comes with a 15-inch display. Comes with -up. The company may replace the Tiguan’s pop-out HUD set-up with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a new windscreen head-up display.

powertrain

There is no clear information about the powertrain of the next-gen Tiguan, but it can get the option of petrol, petrol plug-in hybrid and diesel engines along with the usual front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options.

Will compete with Hyundai Tucson

In the Indian market, this car will compete with Hyundai Tucson, in which a diesel and a petrol engine option is available. Along with this, more than 60 connected features are also available in it.
