Maruti New Premium MPV: Indo-Japanese automaker Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch Toyota Innova Highcross’ re-badged model Invicto in July. Earlier there were reports of her name being engaged. The official bookings for this three-row MPV will start on June 19, 2023. The new Maruti Invicto will be the third MPV and the costliest car in the company’s portfolio. The carmaker believes that the premium three row segment is loved by both MPV and SUV buyers. Like the company’s Grand Vitara, the new Maruti MPV will also be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant.

This MPV will be based on Toyota’s TNGA-C architecture. It will get a 2.0L strong hybrid with 183bhp power and a 2.0L petrol engine with 173bhp power. In which an e-CVT gearbox and CVT automatic transmission will be available respectively. This will be the first automatic-only model from the company.
There will be a change in the exterior design
In terms of dimensions, the new Maruti MPV will be similar to the Innova Highcross. However, some changes can be seen in its exterior. The new spy pictures reveal that the model will get a trapezoidal grille with chrome bar, redesigned front bumper, LED DRLs and alloy wheels.
