Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Hero Motocorp Launched Their New 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V In India

2023 Hero Xtreme 160R: Hero MotoCorp has launched the long-awaited new Xtreme 160R 4V bike in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 1.27 lakh. The 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R is claimed to be the fastest and lightest 160cc motorcycle in the country. This new motorcycle will compete with TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS 160.

Available in 3 variants

Customers can book this new bike online or through authorized Hero dealerships. The deliveries of this bike will start from the second week of July. It has been introduced in Standard, Connected and Pro 3 variants, whose ex-showroom prices are Rs 1,27,300, Rs 1,32,800 and Rs 1,36,500 respectively.

engine

A new 163.2cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, 4-valve engine has been used in the new Extreme 160R 4V. Which generates power of 16.9PS at 8500rpm and torque of 14.6Nm at 6600rpm. This engine is connected to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is built on a tubular underbone diamond type frame with box type swing arm. The previous model with 2V engine used to generate 15.2PS power and 14Nm torque.

Design

The bike comes with upside-down front forks as compared to the conventional telescopic units. The preload-adjustable mono-shock unit has been given at its rear. It gets disc brakes on both the wheels along with single channel ABS. The standard variant gets telescopic suspension at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. 17-inch alloy wheels have been given in the new bike. The bike measures 2029mm in length, 793mm in width and 1052mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1333mm. Its seat height is 795mm and ground clearance is 165mm. It comes with the lowest curb weight of 144 kg in its segment.

Features

Bluetooth connectivity has been provided in this motorcycle through the LCD console. It now gets a sportier, split seat setup in place of the single piece unit of the previous model. The bike has been made more premium with the redesigned switchgear. It also gets LED lighting and a digital console.

Will compete with TVS Apache RTR

This bike will compete with TVS Apache RTR 160R, which gets a 159.7cc 4 valve engine, which generates power of 17.63 PS.
