2024 Tata Safa Some New Details Of New Tata Safari Is Revealed

Tata Safari Facelift: Tata Motors is preparing to launch the upgraded version of its 3 SUVs before the end of this financial year. According to media reports, the new Nexon may be launched by August 2023, while the new Harrier will be launched in the festive season of 2023 and the 2024 Tata Safari is expected to be launched by the end of this financial year. Apart from this, the company will also launch the Punch EV this year and the Curve SUV coupe next year.

Design & Interior

The 2024 Tata Safari has been spotted testing several times on Indian roads. This new model will get new design and advanced cabin with more advanced features. The styling of the new Safari will be inspired by the Harrier EV concept, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023. The new model will get a new front fascia with vertically stacked LED headlamps, widening of the bonnet and a new connected LED DRL on the new front bumper. The rear-end will get new LED tail-lights and an updated tailgate, and a new bumper. The side profile is not likely to get any changes except for the new alloy wheels. The new model is expected to get bigger 19-inch alloy wheels and Audi-like dynamic turn indicators along with connected LED tail-lamps.

It is not expected to get major changes in its cabin, as the company had recently made many major changes in the outgoing model. The AT variant is likely to get Land Rover inspired gear lever, new seat upholstery and a few other changes. The SUV will continue to get features like 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch fully digital instrument console, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and ventilated front and second row seats. This SUV will get 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, electronic stability control and many other safety features. Along with this, ADAS technology is also likely to be available in it.

powertrain

The existing 2.0L turbo diesel engine will be retained in the 2024 Tata Safari. This engine generates 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. It will get the option of 6-speed manual and Hyundai sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox. It is also likely to get a new 1.5L T-GDI turbo petrol engine, which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. This engine generates 170bhp power and 280 Nm torque. Dual-clutch transmission can be given in it.

who competes with

This SUV will compete with Mahindra XUV700, in which both diesel and petrol engines are available. Soon the company is preparing to bring its electric model as well.
