2023 Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Creta: South Korean automaker Kia Motors has introduced the facelifted version of its mid-size SUV Seltos in the Indian market. The new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, which arrived in India, has now been updated a lot more than before. Customers can book this new SUV from 14 July. Powertrain Comparison

The 2023 Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta get the same 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 113 Bhp power and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 113 Bhp power. But the Seltos facelift also gets the option of a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates 158 Bhp power. It is the most powerful engine in the segment. The Seltos gets a total of five transmission options, namely MT, iMT, AT, IVT and DCT depending on the engine.

2023 Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Creta: Features

Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta are considered SUVs equipped with more features. But the new Seltos facelift is equipped with more advanced features. It features a twin-screen set-up with two 10.25-inch units, one for the infotainment system and the other for instrumentation. Also, it gets a new panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 6 airbags as standard, electric parking brake and level-2 ADAS and a host of other features. However, the facelift version of Hyundai Creta is also expected to get features similar to the new Seltos, which can be launched next year.

2023 Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Creta: Price Comparison

The best-selling Hyundai Creta in the segment is currently available in India at a starting price of Rs. 10.87 lakhs ex-showroom, which goes up to Rs. 19.20 lakhs for the top model. While the ex-showroom price of the new Kia Seltos facelift is expected to start from Rs 10.99 lakh, which can go up to Rs 20.99 lakh for the top model. The new 2023 Kia Seltos will be launched in the country in three trims namely Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line. The top-spec trim will get more premium features than other trims along with a host of new features.
